Track Brewing Co. has opened the doors to its second Manchester taproom, a 4,000 sq ft venue in the heart of the Green Quarter that the brewery describes as its "most ambitious project to date."
The new site at Dantzic Street, a short walk from Victoria Station, features 20 taps pouring a rotating selection of Track's core range alongside limited-edition releases and guest beers from fellow independent breweries.
"We've been looking for the right space in the city centre for over two years. The Green Quarter is changing fast, and we wanted to be part of that growth while giving people a proper neighbourhood taproom."
— Sam Dyson, co-founder and head brewer, Track Brewing Co.
The venue spans two floors, with a ground-floor bar and an upstairs events space designed to host brewery tap takeovers, meet-the-brewer evenings, and private functions. A small kitchen serves flatbreads and bar snacks, sourced from suppliers within Greater Manchester.
A Focus on Freshness and Community
The taproom will receive fresh deliveries directly from Track's Piccadilly brewery three times a week, a move the team says ensures the freshest possible pint.
"We're keeping things simple," Dyson added. "Great beer, served fresh, in a space where people want to spend time. That's always been our philosophy."
The opening comes during a period of growth for Track, which reported a 22% increase in output last year. The brewery currently distributes to over 300 accounts across the UK, but Dyson emphasised that the taproom remains central to the brand.
"Taprooms are where people connect with what we do. You can taste the difference when a beer has travelled 500 metres instead of 500 miles."
Opening Details
The Green Quarter taproom is open Wednesday to Sunday, from 12pm. Entry is free, and dogs are welcome. A full opening weekend programme runs from 20–22 February, with guest taps from Cloudwater, Verdant, and Deya.
Track Brewing Co. was founded in Manchester in 2014 and is known for its hop-forward pale ales and IPAs. The brewery's original Piccadilly taproom on Temperance Street has operated since 2018.
